Our vacation home offers all the space and comfort you could want when traveling with friends or family. The house features five bedrooms (including one family room with a bunk bed), a spacious dining room, a kitchen, a separate living area, three bathrooms, and four separate restrooms. The Weynschuur is located in the garden and accommodates four people on the ground floor: it’s very popular with groups that include grandparents who want to be close by but still have their own space, or with parents traveling with a baby. In addition to the accessible recreational activities in the area, you can also unwind in the jacuzzi at any time of day. Do you enjoy “jeu de boules”? Take a seat at the petanque court behind the Weynschuur and enjoy a glass of our own wine while taking in the view of the vineyard. As a guest, you’re certainly welcome to visit the vineyard, or book a tasting if you’re looking for a complete experience. That way, you’re guaranteed to become a Weyn lover.
Nature and surroundings
Weynhoven borders Brecht’s “green lungs”: the Brechtse Heide. Start your hike here with us, and you’ll immediately find yourself in this area of outstanding natural beauty—a paradise for every hiker and nature lover. The Kooldries nature reserve is also a favorite among wildlife and plant enthusiasts: it’s home to the crested newt, among other species. Weynhoven lies in the shadow of the Trappist nuns’ monastery (the counterparts of the region’s famous Trappist brewers). We’d like to recommend their little shop, where you can find the artisanal lavender soap used in our soap dispensers, along with many other local products. Cyclists can hop onto the cycle route network nearby along the Dessel-Schoten Canal. Birdwatchers will also find plenty to enjoy here, as we’re located in a bird migration area: in the mornings and evenings, you can spot countless birds here, ranging from nightjars to wrens. Are you a fan of artisanal ice cream? Then be sure to stop by our niece’s (Romie) farm.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
