This former 'ecurie', at +/- 700km from Utrecht, has been completely renovated in '21/'22. The beautiful detached cottage is a combination of authentic French and modern stylish, has a luxurious finish and is equipped with all modern comfort (including fiberglass internet, dishwasher, washing machine). The gîte has a bedroom with double bed (160x200), large kitchen and a cozy living room with wood stove and access to the terrace. Bathroom with walk-in shower and a separate toilet. All rooms are located on the ground floor. In the living room there is a comfortable sofa bed (140x200) making this cottage suitable for up to 4p. This room can be closed off from the living kitchen creating a separate bedroom. Spacious garden and terrace facing south with a spectacular and unobstructed view over the meadows and the Morvan! Dog welcome if kept on a leash outside (garden not fully fenced). Stay in winter possible by arrangement.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located in Héry (58800), at a distance of 10km from the village of Corbigny where all necessary amenities are available. Directly from the cottage you can make several walks along rolling meadows or through the forest. There is also a lot of beautiful nature in the area: you drive in 5 minutes to the famous Canal du Nivernais and the river Yonne. Within 15 minutes you are at the lakes 'étangs de Baye et de Vaux' and also the lakes and forests of the natural park Morvan (which you can see from your terrace) are at a close distance from this cottage.
