Former Zoutelande beach house now stands in the pear orchard near the mini-campsite. Wake up to the sounds of birds and start the day with a delicious breakfast of freshly cooked free-range eggs, smoothee drinks and sweet strawberries from the Landwinkel as you look out over the pear orchard from the terrace and see the big sea boats sliding by in the distance above the Westerscheldedijk. During the day you can enjoy walking or cycling in the area and in the evening you can enjoy the sunset from the terrace while enjoying a luxurious drink from the Landwinkel. Doesn't that seem wonderful to you? The cottage is simply furnished: no television, but there are books, magazines and games and excellent wifi. There is no dishwasher, but there is a dishwashing brush. To use the shower you have to go outside - a bathrobe is provided - just next to the back entrance of the cottage. There is no playground or cafeteria.

In the vicinity there are plenty of opportunities for quiet walking or cycling: on top of the dikes you will enjoy beautiful views. In the evening you enjoy the sunset behind the pear orchard. Ministrandje Perkpolder (15 min. cycling), North Sea beach (40 km), nature reserve Verdronken Land van Saeftinghe (15 km), fortified town Hulst (12 km), Antwerp, Ghent and Bruges can be reached by car in 30 to 45 minutes. Near the beach cottage, 1 km away is an indoor recreational swimming pool (Hengstdijk) and 4 km away is a large outdoor swimming pool (Kloosterzande). During the harvest season (August through October), harvest arrangements are organized, offering the opportunity to pick your own produce.
