Our farm-style campground and farmhouse are located in the Limousin, a region within Nouvelle-Aquitaine. This region also includes the departments of Haute-Vienne and the Dordogne. It doesn't get any better than this
Beter kan niet
Everything was provided in the cottage; we didn’t lack for anything. If we had any questions, we could always count on Nicolien and Sharon (mother and daughter). They both speak Dutch. We were there during a heat wave. We weren’t bored for a moment: swimming and floating in the lovely lake. Everything you need is there: floats, paddleboards, and a small boat. Too much sun by the cottage? Just head across to the other side, where there’s shade to read a book in peace. Don’t feel like cooking? Dining at the auberge on the grounds is super cozy and reasonably priced. We also did a lot of fishing and caught plenty. Do we want to go back? Yes!!! From the moment we first met, we felt right at home. They’re wonderfully easygoing and always available. Alles is in het huisje aanwezig, we hebben niets gemist. Als er al iets te vragen was konden we altijd rekenen op Nicolien en Sharon (moeder en dochter). Zij spreken beiden Nederlands. Wij waren er tijdens een hittegolf. We verveelden ons geen moment: zwemmen en dobberen in het heerlijke meer. Alles is aanwezig: om in te drijven, padelplanken, een bootje. Teveel zon bij het huisje? Even naar de overkant en er is schaduw om in alle rust een boek te lezen. Geen zin om te koken? Eten in de auberge op het terrein is supergezellig en niet te duur. We hebben ook veel gevist en veel gevangen. Willen we terug? Ja!!! Vanaf onze eerste kennismaking hadden we het gevoel van vertrouwdheid. Heerlijk makkelijk in de omgang en altijd bereikbaar.
