Nature and surroundings
The limousine is a beautiful natural area just above the dordogne and not overrun with tourists. The nature here is really beautiful. Cozy villages, castles, the beautiful city of Limoges. Many excursions possible! Or relax with a book at the lake, rent a boat or bikes. Good food in our auberge (reservation). Our campsite and farm are located in the Limousin, a region in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region. This region also includes the departments of Haute-Vienne and Dordogne. From this you can already tell that this is a very beautiful and quiet area, with green forests, many lakes, small villages, castles and caves, and a wonderful temperature. Well known in the Limousin region are of course the Limousin cattle, you have to taste the meat! About 35 km from the campground is the capital of Limousin, Limoges.
