Welcome to our nature-themed B&B in 87230 Champsac. In the beautiful Haute-Vienne, a department located in southwestern France, we started a chambres d’hôtes a few years ago. Our house is quite spacious for the four of us, so the three rooms each have their own entrance, which leads to a small hallway and then up a beautiful staircase to the first floor. Room 2 has a 180x200 bed and a private bathroom equipped with a shower, sink, and toilet. Room 3 has a large (160x210) bed and a single bed. The shower, sink, and separate toilet are located in the hallway (intended solely for this room, of course) We often rent this room to families with children because we can also rent out Room 4, which has two single beds. A fold-out bed and a crib are also available if needed. We offer midweek and weekend packages, with breakfast included, of course. We also offer half-board packages. You can enjoy our small farm campground nestled among the trees and situated on our own lake of approximately 1 ha.
Nature and surroundings
Our farm campground and farmhouse are located in Limousin, a region within Nouvelle-Aquitaine. This region also includes the departments of Haute-Vienne and Dordogne. This alone makes it clear that this is a very beautiful and peaceful area, with lush forests, many lakes, small villages, castles, and caves, and a delightful climate. The Limousin is, of course, famous for its Limousin cattle—you simply must try the meat! This breed, along with our Friesian horses, grazes in our pastures and is housed in our stables. About 35 km from the campground lies the capital of Limousin, Limoges. It was a B&B that was simply set up. But the hospitality, on the other hand, was tremendously high. A Dutch family with an obvious eye for the vacationer. Highly recommended!
