Shelter in the middle of nature. It is part of a scattered farm where sheep are cared for and carob trees are grown. It is located less than 15 minutes from the beaches of Levante de Mallorca. Along a rural road you reach a greenway from where you can walk or bike to the towns of Sant Llorenç, Son Carrió, Artà and Manacor. The small building is sustainable. Electricity works with solar panels and batteries. The water is collected from the rain. The water from the shower and sinks is recycled and used for irrigation.
Nature and surroundings
The farm where this small refuge is located is surrounded by nature. There are olive trees, oaks and bushes. Thanks to a pool of water, where some fish also live, biodiversity is encouraged. The song of the birds is the alarm clock every morning and accompanies us throughout the day. Some land turtles and some chickens sometimes appear on the farm.
