The former ferry house was completely restored and converted into a vacation home for 2 people. Available from JULY 2022. Superb setting next to the river, l' Anglin, overlooking the bridge, the château and the village of Angles-sur-l'Anglin. The house has a private garden and there is a private beach on the property. The nature house is located on the outskirts of Angles-sur-l'Anglin, un des plus beaux villages de France. In the village there are some restaurants and bars with terraces, there is a grocery store, a mini-market on Thursdays, oysters from Ile d'Oléron on Sundays (from September to June), several stores of local 'artisans'. You can visit the Château there and get lost in numerous alleys. The house is located on the river Anglin which flows into the Gartempe a little further on. Beautiful surroundings, rolling countryside, amidst the rivers Anglin, Gartempe and Creuse. Wide range of marked walking and cycling routes. Or go exploring by canoe. Close to the natural park 'La Brenne', the favorite spot for birdwatchers. Nearby villages and towns worth seeing are Chauvigny, Saint-Savin, Montmorillon, Gargilesse-Dampierre, Poitiers.
