The nature house is located on the outskirts of Angles-sur-l'Anglin, un des plus beaux villages de France. In the village there are some restaurants and bars with terraces, there is a grocery store, a mini-market on Thursdays, oysters from Ile d'Oléron on Sundays (from September to June), several stores of local 'artisans'. You can visit the Château there and get lost in numerous alleys. The house is located on the river Anglin which flows into the Gartempe a little further on. Beautiful surroundings, rolling countryside, amidst the rivers Anglin, Gartempe and Creuse. Wide range of marked walking and cycling routes. Or go exploring by canoe. Close to the natural park 'La Brenne', the favorite spot for birdwatchers. Nearby villages and towns worth seeing are Chauvigny, Saint-Savin, Montmorillon, Gargilesse-Dampierre, Poitiers.
