The forest cottage is within biking distance of the cozy Veluwe village of Putten. Here you will find a good bakery, butcher, greengrocer and nice terraces. Surrounded by heath and forests. The various nature reserves around the cottage offer a varied setting in which you can spend hours cycling and walking. The area is home to many estates, including Castle The Vanenburg, Oldenaller Estate with a castle dating from 1655 and an organic farm, the estate Groot Spriel surrounded by one of the oldest forests in the Netherlands and Schovenhorst Estate.
