Nature and surroundings
Our vacation home is located in a weekend house area in the Westerwald. The vacation home is available for sole use with a fenced property area of approx. 330 square meters. 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and an open living/dining area are available. There is also a covered terrace facing south. And not to forget our children's house (see photo) for our little guests in the enclosed outdoor area.the weekend house area in 57647 Enspel is located in the northern Rhineland-Palatinate between the towns of Hachenburg, Bad Marienberg and Westerburg. In the immediate vicinity there are some ponds, which are not open to the public, but shopping facilities, restaurants, pharmacy and much more can be found about 1 km away in the village of Nistertal, which also has a train connection to the cities of Hachenburg, Westerburg, Limburg or Cologne.

Erik August 2, 2025 General rating:In itself quite a neat cottage. Reception was friendly but short. Deposit, read electricity meter, sign and done. We have not paid close attention, but Wifi is nowadays a kind of basic need. That is not present here. The cottage does have all the facilities of a normal house. What is not in the ad but should be mentioned, in my opinion, is that electricity consumption is not included in the rent. That while it says that besides rent, cleaning and payment to "nature fund" there would be no additional costs. So this is not true, the advertisement falls short in this regard. Moreover, electricity is not market-based but coveniently charged at € 0.50 per kWh. Average electricity price in DLD is considerably lower. Furthermore, there is satellite TV but, but it is set to a Slavic/Eastern European language and pre-programming a Dutch channel is apparently too much trouble. Too bad.

Dat terwijl er staat dat er naast huur, schoonmaak en afdracht aan 'natuurfonds' er geen extra kosten meer zouden zijn. Dat is dus niet zo, de advertentie schiet daarin tekort. Stroom wordt bovendien niet marktconform maar conveniënt tegen € 0.50 p/kWh afgerekend. Gemiddelde stroomprijs in DLD ligt aanmerkelijk lager. Verder is er wel satelliet-TV maar, maar deze staat ingesteld op een Slavische/Oost-Europese taal en een Nederlandse zender pre-programmeren is kennelijk teveel moeite. Jammer.Nature, peace & environment:Cottage is in a remote location where only local residents/renters come. The cottage does lie close to the adjacent cottage of the same owner. There is no grass, everything is sprinkled with basalt.
Huisje ligt op een afgelegen locatie waar alleen de lokale bewoners/huurders komen. Het huisje ligt wel dicht tegen het naastgelegen huisje van dezelfde eigenaar aan. Er is geen gras, alles is bestrooit met basalt.
