Nature house in Schipborg

General: In the yard of our rustic house and in the middle of national park "the Drentse Aa" is completely detached; our nature house. The studio is almost climate neutral with underfloor heating through a pellet boiler and electricity through solar panels. There are user-friendly means to separate waste for a sustainable stay. The studio is suitable for 2 (in consultation 3) people and has 1 large bedroom with a box-spring (2-person) and on the other side of the room separation another double bed. You can sit outside on the private terrace. The beds are made on arrival and all linen is provided. Coffee can be made with an espresso machine (prefer filter coffee? feel free to indicate this) with (present) cups. Furthermore, there is oil, salt and pepper and a few kinds of tea. Our environment offers many opportunities to enjoy nature and/or be sporty. At 15 minutes walking distance (1.2 km), 3 famous LAWs come together; the Pieterpad, the Drenthepad and the Groot Frieslandpad. In the village of Zuidlaren (5 km. away) are all facilities such as supermarkets, bakery, market etc. At 12 minutes cycling distance is the P+R Westlaren bus stop from where there is a bus to the center of Groningen within 20 minutes. Groningen is known for its Martini Tower and cozy downtown with terraces and the so-called courtyards. Groningen is also a student city, which guarantees liveliness. Every year at the beginning of July the FestiValderAa is organized in Schipborg. A weekend full of music and theater in the middle of nature.
