Nature house in Houffalize

Our chalet is a structure built in the 1970s but was recently completely refurbished and is laid out as follows. On the ground floor, you will find a large storage room. The first floor is accessed via the side path and comprises a spacious living area with open, fully fitted kitchen, storage room, 2 bedrooms and bathroom with bath and shower. The absolute asset is the spacious sun terrace of about 30m² with fantastic views over the valley and the protected chapel of Sainte-Marguerite. Downstairs there is also a charming garden and on the slope above the chalet you can also enjoy the wide view in all peace and quiet. The chalet can accommodate 4 people but there is also an extra cot available. The chalet can be rented for a weekend (2 or 3 nights), a midweek or a full week. Wifi is available. The driveway has room for 2 cars.

Located in the heart of the Ardennes in Belgian Luxembourg in the hamlet of Ollomont, which is part of Nadrin (Houffalize), the chalet is about 12km from both the centre of La Roche-en-Ardenne and Houffalize. This is in the middle of the 'Parc Naturel des Deux Ourthes'. With the proximity of, among others, the rock face of Le Hérou and the lake of Nisramont, the possibilities for adventurous hiking, mountain biking and kayaking are endless. The Ardennes at its most rugged! The chalet is, for example, located on the GR57 hiking trail and the Escapardenne Eisleck trail. The Burgundians among us are not left hungry either. There are several restaurants within walking distance (La Plume dOie, Le Vieux Chêne, Lac de Belle-Meuse, La Villa des Fleurs, Charme de Wibrin) and Achouffe with its brewery and restaurants are not far either. Other tips: swimming in the Ourthe at Maboge Plage, visiting Mardasson and the Ardennes Battle Museum, etc.
