Are you looking for beautiful surroundings, in the middle of nature, lots of privacy and good basic facilities? Come to the Achterhoek, to our cozy log cabin near Groenlo, Winterswijk and Eibergen. The log cabin is quite compact but has many facilities such as a completely renovated shower and toilet room, one double pull-out bed, central heating and a spacious veranda. The kitchenette includes an electric stove, hot water, a kettle and a coffee maker. On the water next to the log cabin you can sit on a private jetty and enjoy nature. The log cabin is suitable for two persons. For additional guests/children a small tent can be set up in consultation.
Nature and surroundings
On the grounds themselves there is already much to see. Our beautiful aviary includes a peacock, gold pheasants, chickens and pigeons. The natural lake is home to many water birds and many large and small fish. It is forbidden to fish for carp. However, it is possible to fish for other fish. This is possible in consultation and for a fee. The lake borders the nature park the Leemputten. Here you can walk or rent a pedal boat. There is an eatery, terrace and playground. 2 kilometers away, just across the border in Germany, is the Zwillbrocker Venn. This bird sanctuary serves as a breeding ground for a colony of flamingos.
