Our vacation farm is a converted 'pleats' (Frisian for 'farm') one and a half kilometers from the village of Engwierum and is located near the Lauwersmeer. The farm has recently been completely renovated and is fully equipped. The farm has a wood stove and several floors with 2 fridges, a freezer, microwave, coffee maker, senseo, washing machine, dishwasher and 6 bedrooms with a total of 12 box springs of 210cm long. It is also nice to relax a bath in 1 of the 2 bathrooms. The house is accessible via a bridge and has a private driveway where there is room for about 4-5 cars. There is also a storage room and charging points are available to charge bikes. Outside on the terrace you can watch the sun go down in the evening and all around is the large garden where you can play football and barbecue to your heart's content.

Janine November 21, 2025 General rating:The house is spacious, clean and fully equipped. Lovely beds, nice bathrooms, spacious living room with kitchen + cozy stove. We had a very nice weekend with our adult children.
