The wonderfully peaceful area is ideal for beautiful bike rides or hikes through the woods. In Schönecken, you’ll find everything you need for daily life, including shops, doctors, a pharmacy, a gas station, and restaurants. Attractions such as the castle ruins, the castle chapel, and a crafts museum are also worth a visit. A park located in the town center invites you to linger. Thanks to its central location, you can reach all kinds of interesting destinations without having to drive far. In nearby Prüm (approx. 8 km), you’ll find an outdoor and indoor swimming pool.
