This nature house/chalet is one of five accommodations on our 4-hectare estate, beloved for its completely private setting. Laranja sleeps two people. It’s a delightful place to stay—small but with lovely details. It features a private sun terrace with a pool, a gas barbecue, and a cozy seating area for outdoor dining. There is fiber-optic internet and Dutch TV with NPO channels. The living area and kitchen flow seamlessly into one another; there is one bedroom, a dining room that doubles as a workation space, a shower room, and a separate toilet. The decor is warm and cozy, and the well-equipped kitchen features a refrigerator, gas stove, and microwave oven. During the summer months, the air conditioning provides cooling, and in the winter, there is solar-powered heating (air conditioning powered by solar panels). A tourist tax applies per person per day for guests aged 16 and older, with a maximum of 5 days. To be paid in cash upon arrival: 1 euro from November through March and 2 euros from April through October.

The cottage is very free on the property, amidst the greenery. We did not use the pool, but with summer temperatures I am sure it would be lovely. The terrace is spacious. the cottage is small, but everything we needed was there and with the nice weather we were mostly outside or out and about.
Het huisje staat heel vrij op het terrein, temidden van het groen. Van het zwembad hebben we geen gebruik gemaakt, maar met zomerse temperaturen is het vast heerlijk. Het terras is ruim. het huisje is klein, maar alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig en met het mooie weer waren we meestal buiten of op pad.
Around our cottage it was quiet and green and in the area were nice towns, villages, beautiful beaches and a little further north beautiful hiking areas around lakes, in the mountains and along old towns. The nature reserve Ria Formosa, on the coast, is amazing! So much space and quiet, beautiful! The beautiful weather made up for everything and that in November! Marga and Rob, the owners, know very well the balance between always being available for their guests and the privacy of the guests, very pleasant people. We had a wonderful vacation!
Rondom ons huisje was het rustig en groen en in de omgeving waren leuke stadjes, dorpjes, prachtige stranden en iets noordelijker mooie wandelgebieden rondom meren, in de bergen en langs oude stadjes. Het natuurgebied Ria Formosa, aan de kust, is geweldig! Zoveel ruimte en rust, prachtig! Het mooie weer maakte alles helemaal goed en dat in november! Marga en Rob, de eigenaren, weten heel goed de balans te vinden tussen altijd beschikbaar zijn voor hun gasten en de privacy van de gasten waarborgen, hele prettige mensen. We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad!
