Nature and surroundings
The house is located at an altitude of 550 m, in a peaceful natural setting at the crossroads of the Lot, Cantal and Aveyron regions. The region is renowned for its chestnut, hazelnut, oak, beech and birch landscapes. The house is part of a typical Ségala hamlet, with its wooden galleries, chestnut drying sheds, barns and well. We bake our own sourdough bread using our neighbor's ancient wheat flours. It's baked in our wood-fired oven. A large lake, 20 minutes from the gîte, has a supervised beach and waterslide, pedal-boat hire and fishing. Barbecues available on site. Family atmosphere. We hadden alles wat we ons konden wensen. De eigenaresse is heel aardig. We hadden ook veel privacy.
Nature, peace & environment:It is a fantastic atmospheric house. It has been beautifully renovated while preserving authentic details. It is located in beautiful nature, peace and quiet. We were with 3 children of 19, 18 and 15, they all had their own bedroom and bathroom. There is a lovely garden with it and also a vegetable garden. We regularly received vegetables from the garden. The owners live in the house next door. There is a ping pong table and also badminton and petanque. At night it is nice and quiet and dark. We wcht really enjoyed it there!!!
Het is een fantastisch sfeervol huis. Het is prachtig gerenoveerd met behoud van authentieke details. Het is ligt in prachtige natuur, rust en ruimte. Wij waren met 3 kinderen van 19, 18 en 15, ze hadden alle 3 eigen slaapkamer en badkamer. Er is een heerlijke tuin bij en ook een groentetuin. We kregen regelmatig groente uit de tuin. De eigenaren wonen in het huis ernaast. Er is een pingpongtafel en verder is er badminton en jeu de boule. 's Avonds is het heerlijk stil en donker. Wij hebben wcht genoten daar!!!
