Feel the soothing peace and quiet of this special place in the beautiful Achterhoek. From your bed box you look straight into the forest. At night it is very dark so you can easily see the enchanting starry sky. The whole forest is dark so as not to disturb the nocturnal animals. At the house itself is a lovely place to be. On the large covered porch or under the porch by the barn where 2 lovely lazy chairs. In the summer you can enjoy the shade in the woods or find a nice sunny spot in the garden. The only downside here is that you'll probably never leave here. Working? The Wifi is excellent and sitting at the cozy bar table with fine stools and the beautiful view is no punishment! With the coffee from the Jura machine you can go on for a long time. Or maybe you prefer a delicious cup of coffee in bed in the morning! Attention! No curtains agv complete privacy. There are curtains in the box bed. This is quite high. Unsuitable for elderly people.
Nature and surroundings
In perhaps the most beautiful location in the Achterhoek, this cottage is located in the forest garden and within walking distance of the most beautiful hiking trails through nature. The municipality of Lochem has also been declared walking municipality of 2022! There are also many bicycle routes (including ATB) very near. In the vicinity are numerous estates to visit in the most beautiful natural settings. Besides all the greenery, do you also need the coziness of nice special stores and fine terraces? The coziest cities like Zutphen and Deventer are 1/2 hour drive. Lochem is 10 minutes drive and has many cozy terraces and good ice cream parlors. There is also plenty of culture within easy reach. Think museum More in castle Ruurlo at 10 min drive, or visit a show in the special outdoor theater of Lochem. Delicious and local food is available at one of the many restaurants or visit a farm store which are plentiful in the area. We lovingly share our best tips for our favorite spots!
