This cozy cottage used to serve as a bake house at our farm. In 2021 we moved here and the bakhouse was renovated and equipped with a new kitchen (induction cooktop, kettle, coffee maker, refrigerator and dishwasher) and bathroom. The bakery is equipped with all conveniences. Upon arrival, the double bed (2 separate mattresses) is made up and there is clean bath and kitchen linen waiting for you. It is located in a beautiful location with unobstructed views over the meadows in Hierden with a private garden with a seating area. You can park in your own yard. Our chickens scratch around the bakery and lay fresh eggs every day. The rate is calculated for the use of two people (excluding use of vide). The rate includes final cleaning at € 60,-. The loft (accessible via a loft ladder) offers space for a third person, we ask € 30, - per night (this is not included in the price). Please indicate use when booking.
Nature and surroundings
Located between two Enken, on walking route 'the Heyderpad' and the Veluwe cycling junction, this vacation home is an ideal starting point for walkers and cyclists. With castle De Essenburg, the Leuvenum forest, the sand drifts Hulshorsterzand and Beekhuizerzand and the Veluwe lake within walking and cycling distance you will not get bored for a moment. The historic center and the cozy boulevard of Harderwijk (3 km) offer many cultural opportunities for a day out and to enjoy a pleasant terrace. If the weather is less sunny one day, a visit to the wellness center the Zwaluwhoeve in Hierden (800 m), Dolfinarium, the City and/or Marius van Dokkum museum is a nice change.
