You can do that in the beautiful new sanitary building, within walking distance of the cottage. There you will find showers, sinks and toilets. We provide soft pillows, but do ask you to bring your own bedding - for example, a sleeping bag, sheets and a blanket or quilt. In the north of Friesland, along the famous Elfstedenroute, the Jabikspaad and the Kleiroute, you will find our cozy recreational harbor and mini campsite - an ideal place for tranquility seekers, hikers, cyclists and water sports enthusiasts. There is room for: 4 campers 2 tents 8 passenger boats and 25 permanent moorings and 2 cozy cabins Our campsite is located on the outskirts of the lively village of Ried, between Berltsum and Franeker, just 5 kilometers from the Wadden Sea coast. By bike you can easily reach the dike, where you have a view of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The campsite itself is wonderfully quiet: with on one side a green forest, on the other side the local handball field. A nice, simple cabin if you want to spend the night in a tiny village in Friesland at a low price, and would rather be out and about during the day. But if it rains, you can’t sit under a roof—you’ll have to stay inside, which isn’t much to speak of, but it’s doable! There were also four chairs and a table for eating.
