Nature house in Rheden

Our lodges are all located on their own lots with a private garden and parking space for one car. All lodges feature a well-equipped (outdoor) kitchen with a dishwasher, a bathroom, and sleeping accommodations. Air conditioning and heating are provided. Each lodge measures 3 x 5 meters, with one meter of that space dedicated to a covered outdoor kitchen. Each lodge has a 140x200 cm bed, and it is already made upon arrival. You can enjoy sitting outside on the wooden deck. Amenities include: - 2-burner electric cooktop and kitchen utensils - Dishwasher - Outdoor kitchen with a separate 2-burner electric cooktop - Bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink - Bed: 140x200 cm- Electric heating in the room and shower - Bench with small table and lamp - 40-liter electric water heater; a shower at 38 degrees lasts about 20 minutes - Picnic table - Please note: if this cottage is booked, there are several other lodges available on similar lots!

It is located in Veluwezoom National Park in Rheden, at the foot of the famous Posbank nature reserve. The diverse natural surroundings are perfect for relaxing or for cycling, hiking, mountain biking, or road cycling; bike rentals are nearby, as are various restaurants. Our little park is nestled in the woods, next to a meadow and along the hiking trails. From woodpeckers to buzzards and from roe deer to wild boars—with a little luck, you might spot them right in your backyard. We’re committed to sustainability and biodiversity; we’ve planted a woodland garden and will soon be sowing flower seeds in the meadow. Items such as the picnic tables and the surrounding structures are made from our own materials, and solar panels are still being installed. There’s so much to do in this area that a weekend is really not enough. A visit to Arnhem, Doesburg, the town of Bronckhorst, or Zutphen; museums including the Kröller-Müller; Burgers Zoo; and Rozendaal Castle with its “little tricksters”—all within a relatively short distance.
