Our house on the edge of the village of Backemoor is a classic brick fen house built in the unusual year of 1941 and is approx. 100 m2 in size. A kitchen with dog cuddly sofa, refrigerator with three freezer compartments, microwave, dishwasher, a normal coffee and a Senseo machine as well as a dining area with four chairs, a living room with another dining area, an L-shaped couch, satellite TV, pellet stove; the large bedroom with 180 x 200 cm double bed and another satellite TV, a smaller bedroom with 2 separate beds 90 x 200 cm and a 3rd satellite TV, three corridors, a bathroom with floor-level shower and washing machine and a separate toilet. The attic is not yet finished, so it is not included in the rent. All rented rooms are at ground level. Corridor no. 3 leads out into the approx. 900 m2 rear garden area, which is fenced in with a game fence. There is a covered terrace and a sun terrace, each with a table and chairs.
Nature and surroundings
Directly from the house you can take relaxing walks through the beautiful paths and fields surrounded by hedgerows. In the neighboring village of Collinghorst (3 km) you will find shops and a snack bar. Europe's narrowest motorway bridge is also just a few minutes away in Amdorf, and a little further on is the Pünte, a ferry that has been operated by hand for centuries. You can also reach Leer by car in just a few minutes. There you can take a leisurely stroll through the beautiful old town or along the harbor or spend money in the surprisingly large shopping area. Emden and Aurich are also easy to reach from here. A trip to Papenburg is almost a must! Not only are the world's largest cruise ships built at the Meyer shipyard and the disembarkation of such a giant is a fascinating sight, but the pretty town center is also worth a visit. The North Sea can be reached by car within 45 minutes.
