The "Oans" vacation rental is part of a building that has been traditionally integrated into the natural surroundings in keeping with Lower Bavarian culture. Features particularly characteristic of the region include the wooden windows framed by granite walls, the wooden dormers, and the balcony built in the country house style. This cozy, modernly furnished vacation apartment is one of four in this quaint, former farmhouse. Also tucked away in this building is the “Private Spa” with a sauna, which can be rented individually for a small fee. Across the way is the small restaurant at the Edlgütl, offering views of the natural surroundings and the local mountain, the Dreisessel. It seats only 24 people. Freshness and quality are top priorities at the Edlgütl, which offers a mix of local and international dishes. We’re also happy to deliver fresh rolls and breakfast baskets filled with regional products to your vacation apartment in the morning. That’s how the perfect vacation surrounded by nature begins.

Our small hotel, Edlgütl, is a hidden gem in the Bavarian Forest. Surrounded by unspoiled nature, our estate is a retreat for nature lovers and hikers. From here, you can embark on exciting adventures in the Šumava National Park and the Neuschönau National Park. The picturesque hiking trails lead through dense forests, along rushing streams, and to breathtaking viewpoints. Enjoy the peace and beauty of nature and let yourself be enchanted by the magic of the Bavarian Forest. At our Edlgütl, you’ll experience unforgettable moments in the midst of a unique natural landscape.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
