The cottage is located on the beautiful lake Ovre Brocken near the town of Vagsjofors.25 km away to the south is the larger town Torsby. (5000inw.) Here are various facilities to be found:2 large supermarkets, shopping center, cafes, restaurants, indoor cross-country ski tunnel!, banks, petrol stations, swimming pool, garages, tourist office etc.. 7 km away (10 minutes drive) is the family ski area Hovfjallet with 6 elevators and 15 descents. The area is ideal for active nature lovers:summer: swimming, fishing (lake and several rivers), hiking (marked trails on the Hovfjallet), mountain biking (8 marked trails of 3-80km), horseback riding, canoeing, indoor skiing, surfing/supboarding.winter: ice skating, cross country skiing, skiing, hiking, ice fishing, horseback riding, snowmobile tour, sled dog tour, snowshoeing.
