Nature house in Alverna

Incredibly attractive, cozy and purposefully furnished house. Lovely beds with a choice of 2 types of pillows, extensive kitchen equipment (oven, coffee maker with cups and frother, large refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher, tea towels and dish towels, dish cubes), several seating areas (inside and outside) fresh flowers, really thought of every detail! We stayed in a period with temperatures around freezing point. The hostess had reminded us in advance (very thoughtful!) to bring socks/slippers - this was not an unnecessary luxury. Slippers are also recommended in the autumn/winter because of the cold floor. The present pellet stove in the living room, however, makes up for a lot: very cozy and nice and warm! The info folder with nice addresses we appreciate very much, so we have eaten fantastic at restaurant Titus in Megen. Parking nearby, you walk through a gravel path and lawn to the cottage.

Ontzettend sfeervol, gezellig en doelmatig ingericht huis. Heerlijke bedden met keuze uit 2 soorten kussens, uitgebreide keukenuitrusting (oa oven, koffiemachine met cups en opschuimer, ruime koelkast, vriezer en vaatwasser, thee- en vaatdoeken, vaatblokjes), meerdere zitmogelijkheden (binnen en buiten) verse bloemen, werkelijk aan alle details is gedacht!
Wij verbleven in een periode met temperatuur rond het vriespunt. De gastvrouw had ons vooraf erop gewezen (zeer attent!) sokken/sloffen mee te nemen - dat was geen overbodige luxe. Badslippers zijn in de herfst/winter ook aan te raden ivm met koude vloer. De aanwezige pelletkachel in de woonkamer maakt daarentegen veel goed: erg gezellig en lekker warm!
De info map met leuke adresjes waarderen we ook zeer; zo hebben we fantastisch gegeten bij restaurant Titus in Megen.
Parkeergelegenheid vlakbij; je loopt via een grindpad en grasveldje naar het huisje.

Located opposite field with lots of privacy and nearby wooded area. Received neat info in advance from owners regarding arrival and contactless check-in (key in safe), but owners during stay always available for questions.

Gelegen tegenover veld met veel privacy en nabijgelegen bosrijke omgeving. Vooraf keurig info ontvangen vd eigenaren mbt aankomst en contactloze check-in (sleutel in kluisje), maar eigenaren zijn tijdens verblijf altijd beschikbaar voor vragen.

The two of us enjoyed the cottage on the field. A beautiful and spacious accommodation which is fully equipped. A large and fully equipped kitchen for extensive cooking, a large table and cozy sitting area. The bed was delicious. There is a lot of privacy, but the landlords are easy to reach and very friendly (also with questions before the visit!). A folder full of tips and explanations is on the table, full of inspiration in the area. All in all, a beautiful, spacious cottage full of coziness. Very clean and really everything has been thought of. Because of the period we visited the cottage we did not sit outside, but also for this there is space both covered and uncovered. We would 100% recommend this place and hopefully come back again in the summer period.

Met zijn tweeën hebben wij genoten in het huisje aan het veld. Een prachtig en ruim onderkomen welke van alle gemakken is voorzien. Een grote en volledig ingerichte keuken om zelf uitgebreid te koken, een grote tafel en gezellige zithoek. Het bed lag heerlijk. Er is veel privacy, maar de verhuurders zijn gemakkelijk te bereiken en erg vriendelijk (ook met vragen voorafgaande het bezoek!). Een map vol met tips en uitleg ligt op tafel, vol met inspiratie in de omgeving.
Al met al een prachtig, ruim huisje vol gezelligheid. Zeer schoon en echt aan alles is gedacht. Vanwege de periode dat wij het huisje bezochten hebben we niet buiten gezeten, maar ook hiervoor is ruimte zowel overdekt als niet overdekt. We raden deze plek 100% aan en komen hopelijk nog eens terug in de zomerperiode.

The cottage is located in the back of the backyard. Because of the large garden and the view of the field and not the house, you feel like you have all your own place. Plenty of privacy. Lovely to look out into the field through the large windows. The area is beautiful and ideal for hiking and biking. A place to unwind and easily get out into nature.

Het huisje is gelegen in de aan de achterkant van de achtertuin. Door de grote tuin en het zicht op het veld en niet op het huis, heb je het gevoel alsof je helemaal een eigen plekje hebt. Volop privacy. Heerlijk om via de grote ramen het veld in te kijken. De omgeving is prachtig en ideaal om te wandelen en te fietsen. Een plek om tot rust te komen en gemakkelijk de natuur in te gaan.
