Nature house in Otterlo

Had a very nice and peaceful stay. The area is beautiful and ideal for hiking and biking; I really unwinded here. The cottage feels spacious and pleasant. Small point to note is that the cottages are somewhat in each other's view and the wifi was not always stable, but otherwise a very pleasant place to stay.

Een heel fijn en rustig verblijf gehad. De omgeving is prachtig en ideaal om te wandelen en fietsen; ik ben hier echt even tot rust gekomen. Het huisje voelt ruim en prettig aan. Klein aandachtspunt is dat de huisjes wat in elkaars zicht staan en dat de wifi niet altijd stabiel was, maar verder een erg prettige plek om te verblijven.

I enjoyed hiking and biking here and really unwinded. The surroundings are beautiful and very quiet; a nice place to get away from it all. Because there are few moments of contact, it is also very suitable for people who consciously want to be alone. The cottage (ladybug) itself felt surprisingly spacious and was pleasant to stay in. Only point to note is that the cottages do stand in each other's view. Because of the rotation, you cannot look directly into each other's homes, but I still regularly had the curtains closed. In winter this is less disturbing; in summer possibly a little more. The wifi did not always work very stable; therefore, I often used my mobile data. Mobile coverage on site is good, by the way.

Ik heb hier heerlijk gewandeld en gefietst en ben echt even tot rust gekomen. De omgeving is prachtig en erg rustig; een fijne plek om er even helemaal uit te zijn. Doordat er weinig contactmomenten zijn, is het ook zeer geschikt voor mensen die bewust even alleen willen zijn.

Het huisje (lieveheersbees(t)je) zelf voelde verrassend ruim aan en was prettig om in te verblijven. Enig aandachtspunt is dat de huisjes wel in elkaars zicht staan. Door de draaiing kun je niet direct bij elkaar naar binnen kijken, maar ik had toch regelmatig de gordijnen dicht. In de winter is dat minder storend; in de zomer mogelijk iets meer.

De wifi werkte niet altijd even stabiel; ik heb daarom vaak mijn mobiele data gebruikt. Het mobiele-bereik ter plaatse is overigens goed.

It was a beautiful and perfectly fine cottage. Everything was there that we needed or might need and everything was clean. The staff that welcomed us was very friendly, we can only say positive things :) We enjoyed the peace and quiet, but of course this is in a very quiet season with cold weather when there are not many other guests in the surrounding tiny housjes. Some points why I would never come in busier periods: - view into the other tiny housjes and therefore into ours - now we were lucky to have the ladybug because that is where the afternoon and evening sun was. Two of the four other houses would never be able to enjoy that Last is for the bed. My partner loved a soft mattress, I need a little more firmness and consequently slept less well. As you can see the "downsides" are tied to what we need as individuals, I add them for completeness so you can see why not 5 stars. :)

Het was een mooi en prima in orde huisje. Alles was aanwezig dat we nodig hadden of zouden kunnen nodig hebben en alles was proper. Het personeel dat ons ontving was heel erg vriendelijk, we kunnen alleen maar positieve dingen zeggen :)
Wij hebben genoten van de rust, maar dit is natuurlijk in een heel rustig seizoen met koud weer wanneer er niet veel andere gasten zijn in de omringende tiny housjes. Enkele punten waarom ik nooit in drukkere periodes zou komen:
- inkijk in de andere tiny housjes en dus in die van ons
- nu hadden we het geluk het lieveheersbeestje te hebben want daar was de namiddag en avondzon. Twee van de vier andere huisjes zouden daar nooit van kunnen genieten
Laatst is voor het bed. Mijn partner vond een zachte matras heerlijk, ik heb wat meer stevigheid nodig en bijgevolg minder goed geslapen. Zoals jullie kunnen zien zijn de “minpuntjes” gebonden aan wat wij nodig hebben als persoon, ik voeg ze toe voor de volledigheid zodat jullie zien waarom geen 5 sterren. :)

We came to relax, but it could be a little more comfortable. Bed, sofa and chairs were all not very comfortable. At night you can hear the refrigerator and ventilation. Otherwise nice design cottage, has potential.

We kwamen om te ontspannen, maar het mag wel iets comfortabeler. Bed, bank en stoelen zaten allemaal niet echt fijn. Snachts hoor je de koelkast en ventilatie. Verder leuk design huisje, heeft potentie.

The care farm is very cozy and neat, sweet pigs. Around the cottage are many garden birds. Well a little lack of privacy, it is at a central point. Environment otterlo / Veluwe is super nice!

De zorgboerderij is erg gezellig en netjes, lieve varkens. Om het huisje heen zitten veel tuinvogels. Wel een beetje gebrek aan privacy, het staat op een centraal punt. Omgeving otterlo/veluwe is supermooi!
