After our last Overland trip from the Netherlands to Asia in our old army ambulance, we were looking for a nice base in nature. We found that in this '60 cottage in the Veluwe and near it. After a major renovation into a cozy "Tiny House" it is completely furnished to our liking. Equipped with all conveniences, yet also basic. A nice mix of wood, coziness and tranquility. Via stairs you climb to the sleeping loft under the wooden gabled roof, where you wake up in the morning with the sound of birds. It also has a wood stove, a well-equipped kitchen, high-speed internet and even a projector for a cinema experience. But of course you also come here for the peace and nature. Outside, you can enjoy the spacious woodland garden and on the terrace a BBQ and wood stove are waiting for you. Use the tree stump as a block to chop your kindling and you'll be ready for summer evenings.
Nature and surroundings
As soon as you drive onto the small vacation park you suddenly notice that you are driving away from the "normal" world. The asphalt disappears and gives way to a bumpy dirt road towards your cottage. The sound of cars gives way to that of birds. But in the immediate vicinity is also much to explore: all kinds of bicycle routes to the Veluwe and Veluwe, mountain bike trails, a climbing forest, and even (kite) surfing can beach Horst less than 5 minutes away. But there are also several supermarkets, restaurants etcetera at 5 minutes cycling. Do you fancy a nice old village or town then we can definitely recommend Harderwijk and Amersfoort.

Nature, peace & environment:It is an excellent cottage, on a quiet little park. Everything that needed to be there was there as described. The bed / mattress upstairs, there you sleep cramped under the roof. We slept there with 25 ° than is warm. There is a fan. Bathroom / sink also very small. There were a few defects, but (with proper consultation with the owners) would be made. There was even something nice waiting for us when we entered, super nice. The garden is lovely, nice to sit freely. You can all day somewhere in the sun or shade. Really enjoyed it. The cottage is super central, 10 min cycling to the stores and many angles for cycling. Perfect for us.
Het is een prima huisje, op een rustig klein park. Alles wat er moest zijn was er zo als beschreven. Het bed / matras boven, daar slaap je krap onder het dak. Wij sliepen er met 25° dan is wel warm. Er staat wel een ventilator. Badkamer/ wasbakje ook er klein.
Er waren wel een paar gebreken , maar( met goed overleg met de eigenaren) zouden die gemaakt worden.
Er lag zelfs iets lekker op ons te wachten bij binnenkomst, super lekker.
De tuin is heerlijk, lekker vrij zitten . Je kunt de hele dag ergens van de zon of schaduw genieten. Echt van genoten. Het huisje ligt super centraal, 10 min fietsen naar de winkels en veel uitvalshoeken om te fietsen. Perfect voor ons.This text is automatically translated. -

En natuurlijk de fietsen die we konden gebruiken gaf ons een vrij gevoel.Nature, peace & environment:Het was in 1 woord Geweldig. De tuin was voor mij echt heerlijk. Daarvoor hoefde ik niet naar het bos. Ik heb eindelijk echt eens kunnen ontspannen door er alleen maar te zijn en in stilte te genieten. Zo had ik regelmatig bezoek van bosdieren. Zo het veldmuisje die mij rustig passeerden en een schitterende eekhoorn voorbij huppelde met een enorme noot in zijn mond. Lekker liggen in het gras. Ik heb echt kunnen ontspannen.
