** hi! this year - once the snow is gone, the plan is to expand the cabin with an exciting addition! only then there will be possibilities for rental again :-) ** Welcome to my refuge, with everything one needs for a wonderfully simple life. One bedroom with double bed (140x200cm), extra mattresses for 3 people, for in the sleeping loft or sofa bed. Kitchenette without running water, with gas stove, fridge, freezer, cutlery, dishes, e.m. No TV or Wifi. But electricity and good 4G coverage. Crystal clear clean spring water right in front of the cabin, with which you can fill some tanks inside. No shower inside - the outdoor opportunity to shower in the woods. The hut is 400m above sea level. There is one barrier to pass on the well-maintained gravel road to the parking lot 40m from the hut. Lively twittering of birds in the forest all around, plenty of wood for the stove, the satisfaction of getting by with a little less. Otherwise silence.

With some luck (snow) in the winter months one can step on skis in front of the hut to the nearest cross-country track 500m from the hut. From Viddaseter, even a little higher up, an extensive cross-country skiing network begins when there is snow in winter. In summer there are many beautiful hikes nearby and also on the surrounding mountains. With a few minutes on foot you can reach Lake Breivann, with many beautiful swimming spots. With canoe or rowboat (free to use) it is wonderful sailing on the water, around the islands. Nature offers in summer salmon in the river Numedalslågen, trout in Breivann and the lakes nearby, and an abundance of berries and edible mushrooms in the forest in autumn.
