Nature house in Voorthuizen

In the flower garden are two cottages built in a hexagon, just like a honeycomb. They are built of stone and clad in native oak. The walls are mostly finished with loam and straw. The first floor is in open communication with the upper floor so that the wooden ceiling with spar can be seen everywhere. The whole gives a warm, harmonious atmosphere. The south side, with lots of glass, overlooks the garden with trees, flowers, vegetable garden and a nature area with water. Around the house and garden are several seating areas where you can seek both sun and shade. House and garden are inspired by books about Anastasia, which means the return to the primal principles of nature. The flower garden is located on a street with all unique homes, and is bordered by beautiful forests. Towels and bedding and linen are all provided. Upon arrival, the key will be handed to you.

The center of Voorthuizen is 4 kilometers away. On Saturday mornings there is the weekly market. There are three supermarkets, a fresh fruit and vegetable store, bakery and butcher, nice thrift stores and much more. For organic vegetables you can go to Tuinderij de Elzenkamp on Fridays and Saturdays, and for other organic shopping at Hart voor Aarde. At the Zeumerse gat you can have a lovely swim. There are also plenty of nice outings to plan, for example to Beekeeper the Valkse Bijenhof, picking gardens Erf Janz, the Platteland or Stoutenburg, play paradise the Maize Maze or Treasure Island, Stroe Berries; you name it.
