You are welcome in our cozy apartment which is very centrally located in the north of the Netherlands. The apartment is located 15 min from the city of Groningen. The Westerkwartier is characterized by the beautiful hedgerow landscape. The provinces of Drenthe and Friesland are just around the corner. At a half hour drive you will find the Lauwersmeer area from where also the boat to Schiermonnikoog departs. We do not serve a standard breakfast. You can order a delicious breakfast before noon.
Nature and surroundings
Walking or cycling you can explore the area. Or take a scenic drive through the scenic countryside. Or go into the city of Groningen and sit down in one of the many cozy cafes. Nearby is a bus stop from where you can be on the Grote Markt in Groningen within half an hour. Also Assen and Drachten can be reached in a short time. The Bedstee is located in the middle of the new wetland Polder de Dijken. A Valhalla for bird lovers.
