On the other side of Gorssel, you’ll find the IJssel floodplains, where you can take the ferry across to De Kribbe—a charming farm restaurant serving delicious pastries. A very cozy cottage. The porch and the garden really complete the picture. It’s good to know that there’s no TV, no Wi-Fi, and not very good cell service either. It took me a little while to adjust to this; I wish I’d known beforehand—then I would have downloaded some things at home just in case.
