Nature house in Prayssac

I do not know where to begin.... Received extensive information from the owners even before arrival including detailed directions, so we couldn't miss the cottage. The cottage itself is extremely well equipped - really from the smallest details in the kitchen to a lot of books and games, more blankets and pillows than you will ever need etc. When we arrived there was a bottle of wine and a treat for the dog waiting for us, plus a sweet card. That really touched us. Comfortable beds, spacious kitchen and large garden - which we really enjoyed thanks to the beautiful weather in mid-October. Also during our stay nice contact with the owners via WhatsApp. The area is also beautiful with lush nature, charming villages and how could it be otherwise: many castles. The only downside (and this is really nitpicking), is the very steep stairs to the bedrooms and bathroom. But good to know for those less agile.

Ik weet niet waar ik moet beginnen... Al voor aankomst uitgebreide informatie ontvangen van de eigenaars inclusief een gedetailleerde routebeschrijving, waardoor we het huisje niet konden missen. Het huisje zelf is bijzonder goed uitgerust - echt van de kleinste details in de keuken tot een heleboel boeken en spelletjes, meer dekens en kussens dan je ooit nodig zult hebben etc. Bij aankomst stond er een fles wijn en een lekkernij voor de hond op ons te wachten, plus een lief kaartje. Dat raakte ons echt. Comfortabele bedden, ruime keuken én grote tuin - waar we dankzij het mooie weer midden oktober toch heel erg van hebben genoten. Ook tijdens ons verblijf fijn contact met de eigenaars via WhatsApp. De omgeving is ook prachtig met weelderige natuur, charmante dorpjes en hoe kan het ook anders: veel kastelen. Het enige minpuntje (en dat is echt muggenziften), is de erg steile trap naar de slaapkamers en badkamer. Maar wel goed om te weten voor wie minder goed te been is.

A beautifully located nature house with a large garden right next to a forest. Really the peace, space and greenery we were looking for. We had the garden to ourselves because the other cottage was not rented at the time we were there, so both we and the dog enjoyed it immensely. There is a road audible from the garden, but that didn't really bother us.

Een prachtig gelegen natuurhuisje met een grote tuin vlak aan een bos. Echt de rust, ruimte en het groen waar we naar op zoek waren. We hadden de tuin voor ons alleen omdat het andere huisje niet verhuurd was op het moment dat wij er waren, dus zowel wij als de hond hebben enorm genoten. Er is wel een weg hoorbaar vanuit de tuin, maar dat heeft ons niet echt gestoord.

The cottage is very fully equipped, everything has been thought of. The terrace offers a lot of privacy, with fine furniture.

Het huisje is heel compleet ingericht, aan alles is gedacht. Het terras biedt veel privacy, met fijn meubilair.

The cottage is very quiet on the edge of a forest. At night you can hear the owl calling, during the day the birds. We spotted a deer near the cottage, and in the area there are many nice walks.

Het huisje is heel rustig gelegen aan de rand van een bos. 's Nachts hoor je de uil roepen, overdag de vogeltjes. We hebben een reetje gespot bij het huisje, en in de omgeving zijn vele leuke wandelingen te maken.
