It stands in the middle of nature making it wonderful to enjoy the surroundings. This vacation home is a fantastic base for cycling trips or walks in the area. Germany is a stone's throw away. Also in and around the cottage is a good place. Enjoy the fireplace or wood fire or in the garden of tranquility. The cottage has all (modern) conveniences and is ideal for four people. Six people is also possible: for a group of four adults and two children.

Aalten, in Gelderse Achterhoek, is located in a beautiful rural setting. Meadows, wooded banks, streams and woods. Castles and historic towns can also be found in the area. But also modern museums, cozy restaurants and fun attractions. Grab a bike, put on your walking shoes or step into a boat. There are beautiful signposted cycling and walking routes in the area, such as the bicycle junction network. There are also theme routes available at the local tourist office that can be followed such as the National Landscape route, the Heritage routes, Scholtengoederenroutes and the Akkerrandenroutes.Aalten is close to the German border. Because of the special combination of agricultural area, nature and cultural history, part of Aalten belongs to National Landscape.The center of Aalten is hilly. The historic market is a protected village sight and has cozy terraces, many stores, good restaurants and coffee shops.
