Nature house in Oud-Turnhout

A beautiful, spacious house—very clean and tidy. The bathroom was truly luxurious, with a spacious shower and bathtub (they even provided bath soap). The beds were neatly made with the bed linens we had brought along. A lovely location surrounded by greenery. The hosts were very welcoming. In terms of amenities, it was very well-equipped, from kitchenware to a generous selection of DVDs to watch. We did miss having a dishwasher there on a few occasions. We didn’t miss the freezer, though. The refrigerator alone was perfectly fine for us.

Prachtig ruim huis, heel schoon en netjes. Badkamer echt luxe met een ruime douche en bad (badzeepjes lagen er zelfs bij). De bedden waren keurig opgemaakt met het bedlinnen wat we erbij hadden genomen. Mooie ligging in het groen. Ontvangst heel gastvrij. Qua aanwezige spullen zeer compleet, van keukengerei tot een riant aanbod aan dvd's om te kunnen kijken. Wij hadden een enkele keer keer dat we een vaatwasser daar miste. De vriezer hebben we niet gemist. Koelkast alleen was voor ons prima.

For the first two days of our vacation, we were bothered by a family with young, energetic, and noisy children in the house next door, but fortunately we were able to sit in a spacious backyard at the back of the house, and there was plenty of room to keep our distance. This was also the reason we didn’t book a cottage at a vacation resort. Everyone followed the rules, so the evenings and nights were quiet. My daughter, 14, my son, 22, and I, 50, deliberately chose a house through the nature house this year to enjoy the peace and quiet. For groceries, there was an AH and a Lidl nearby, among other options. A night at the movies is fun and not far to drive. Communication with the owner of the house we booked was excellent! Nature house has a clear website.

2 dagen in het begin van onze vakantie hebben we last gehad van een gezin met jonge drukke luidruchtige kinderen in een huis naast ons, maar gelukkig konden we aan de achterkant van het huis in een riante tuin zitten en was er voldoende ruimte om afstand te nemen. Dit was ook de reden om niet op een vakantiepark een huisje te boeken. Iedereen hield zich aan de voorgeschreven regels dus de avonden en nachten was het stil. Mijn dochter, 14, en zoon, 22, en ik, 50, hebben bewust dit jaar voor een huis via Natuurhuisje gekozen om te genieten van de rust. Voor een boodschapje waren er o.a. een ah en lidl in de buurt. Avondje bioscoop is leuk en niet ver rijden. Contact met de verhuurder van ons geboekte huis heel erg fijn! Natuurhuisje heeft een duidelijke website.

Absolutely stunning nature—a truly special place where you can really unwind.

Fantastisch mooie natuur, hele bijzondere plek waar je echt tot rust komt.

Overall, the experience was nothing but positive—a beautiful setting with plenty to do, and a petanque court right next to the house and plenty of outdoor space. Definitely recommended for families with children.

algemene ervaring alleen maar positief, mooie omgeving, waar veel te beleven was, maar ook rondom het huis waar een jeux de boulebaan aanwezig was en verder veel buitenruimte. Zeker aan te raden met kinderen

A nice, well-maintained house with plenty of space on the ground floor.
The only downside: there were five of us adults, all over 60, so the bedroom with the bunk beds wasn't very practical.
Otherwise, everything we needed for a pleasant stay was there.

leuk, goed onderhouden huis, met beneden voldoende ruimte.
Enige minpuntje. wij waren met 5 volwassenenen, 60 plussers, dan is de slaapkamer met stapelbed niet zo handig.
Verder was alles aanwezig voor een aangenaam verblijf.
