Dreaming away to the soft crackle of the wood stove while snowflakes swirl outside. In our cozy forest house in Halle you will find the perfect mix of winter coziness and modern luxury. Start your day with a steaming cup of coffee while watching the squirrels in the garden gather their winter supplies. Then head out for an invigorating walk in the woods, where the fresh air will clear your head. After a day outdoors, a complete wellness experience awaits you: warm up in the sauna, dream away in the bathtub or relax in the steam room. The old record player provides the perfect soundtrack to your winter retreat. Need to work, too? The bright office with high-speed Internet and forest views makes focusing a pleasure. The spacious living room with wood stove, the well-equipped kitchen and three rooms (two bedrooms plus study with folding bed) offer all the comforts for a wonderful stay. The private garden all around gives a feeling of freedom and security.
Nature and surroundings
In the middle of the lush forests of the Achterhoek you will find our nature house, located on an intimate park with about 40 homes. In the private spacious garden you can dream away undisturbed in the hammock, read a book or sit by the fire in the evening. The area invites endless walking and cycling: the Pieterpad, the Boelekeerl' path, the vast heathland and estate 't Zand are practically on your doorstep. For mountain bikers there are numerous challenging routes. The cozy town of Zelhem, 3 kilometers away, is perfect for shopping and a local beer. From April to October, the Halmac motocross track comes alive on Saturday afternoons. The spectacle can be heard from the garden and for enthusiasts, definitely worth a visit! Not your thing?
