On 1 of the most beautiful places in the Corrèze, in a natura 2000 area, with magnificent views of the valley of the Dordogne and the Lac de Hautefage is our cozy, authentic Gite. Here you experience the real old France; silence, beautiful views, nature, peace and no light / air pollution. The nature house is fully equipped. The layout is as follows; on the ground floor is the kitchen with wood oven, appliances, bathroom and door to the terrace, then a staircase up to the modern furnished living floor, from this room you have another beautiful view. There is a fireplace, large table and a lovely lounge sofa. A staircase takes you to the top floor with 2 bedrooms; 1 for adults and a room with sofa bed. Nature and surroundings
At 10 Kilometers from Argentat in the hills of Hautefage in the department of Corrèze you will find the Gîte. The cottage is located in the beautiful "Vallée de la Dordogne" which extends over the departments of Corrèze and Dordogne. Here nature is still nature! The beautiful, green, hilly area offers you everything; hiking, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, rafting and via ferrata. For lovers of culture, architecture and art, there are many villages, medieval castles, museums and cultural-historical towns such as the museum village of Collonges-la-Rouge, the medieval towns of Salers, Sarlat, Beaulieu sur Dordogne and Rocamadour. At 15KM the beautiful ruins of Tours de Merle(12th Century), there are also beautiful caves nearby, including Padirac. At 60 KM is Brive, an old city with a beautiful center with nice stores and restaurants. For beautiful views and challenging walks you can drive to Puy Mary(1783 meters) and/or the ski area Le Lioran(1850 meters).
