Nature house in De Heurne

Enjoy a wonderful long weekend or a week away—alone, with a partner, or with your dog. All year round, our cottage is a wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle. Our cozy cottage is simple yet equipped with many amenities. It features a cozy sitting area with a wonderful unobstructed view of the countryside. Central heating keeps it nice and warm in the winter. There’s one bedroom with a double bed. It’s a truly comfortable spot for two people. For those who’d still like to stay as a group of four, we have a sleeper sofa in the living area. During the day, it’s a lovely sofa to sit on. There’s also a storage closet for clothes, groceries, and other items. There is a kitchenette equipped with a stovetop, small oven, refrigerator with freezer drawers, a Senseo coffee maker, a regular coffee maker, a kettle, and dishes. Covered porch with a wood stove. Board games are provided, and there is Wi-Fi and a television. Breakfast can be reserved upon request. However, you’re also welcome to arrange this on your own. Pets are allowed.

Our chalet is located in De Heurne on the grounds of Op de Brusse. Surrounded by nature. A small hamlet near the German border between Aalten and Dinxperlo. Winterswijk is also within easy reach. As soon as you park your car and step out, you’ll notice the special atmosphere and the sweeping views. The garden is completely fenced in, so it’s truly a private retreat. You can relax comfortably under the covered patio with a wood stove. There’s plenty of firewood available. It gets really dark here! The surrounding area is great for walking and biking. Information is available on beautiful places to visit—museums, estates, and even a wildlife park just a half-hour drive away, just across the border in Germany. So there’s plenty to do in the countryside. Our restaurant is located on the other side of the farm. If we’re closed or don’t have any seats available, there are still plenty of options for a delicious meal. There’s even a nice bistro within walking distance. There’s also a farm shop nearby for groceries and local delicacies.
