In a beautiful part of Zeeland Flanders, our nature house is located about 2 km from the Westerscheldedijk overlooking the vast polder, which is flanked by an old creek rest with reed fringe.The cottage includes a lovingly maintained bright vegetable garden where you can enjoy the peace and space. The nature house is fully equipped, central heating, walk-in shower, sink and a separate toilet. The living / kitchen with dining table is fully equipped, refrigerator, 2 electric hobs, coffee maker, blender etc and a combi oven / microwave. From the large kitchen window you may be lucky enough to spot a roe deer, pheasant, duck or fox. In the bedroom/living room (ground floor) you will find two separate made beds and a beautiful masonry chimney with wood stove and a cozy sitting area and also a large reading/writing table. In the village of Zaamslag at 2 km, which you pass by on your way to Reuzenhoek, is a Spar supermarket, two excellent bakers and a butcher.
Nature and surroundings
There are beautiful walks and bike rides to be made, including: the State Spanish Fortress Line, the Land of Saeftinge, Big Island, the Braakman or the Zwin. Regional museums in Hulst, Axel and Sas van Gent as well as the famous Verbeke Foundation in Stekene. Cities such as Antwerp and Ghent are just over half an hour away, as are Middelburg and Goes via the Westerschelde tunnel and Lille in 1 hour and 40 minutes.
