With 2 people staying in a cozy apartment (50m2) with garden, located in a beautiful Frisian monumental farmhouse. The apartment has a private entrance at the front of the farmhouse, a spacious hall, a spacious living / bedroom with special ceiling (formerly this was the showroom) and a kitchen and spacious bathroom with all the luxury and comforts. Experience at this unique place the peace and space of the countryside with at 15 minutes cycling distance the vibrant, cultural center of Leeuwarden! The apartment offers views over the garden and countryside. The living/bedroom is equipped with a 2-person, Eastborn electrically adjustable bed (180X210) and can also be set up as 2 single beds if desired. This room also features a sitting area, bar table and TV. The kitchen is equipped with a Quooker, nespresso machine, dishwasher, washer/dryer combination, oven/microwave and fridge/freezer. Enjoy the wide view over the farmlands of the old Middelsee area! Located in the historic hamlet called Barrahus just 3 km south of Leeuwarden. In and around the farm several bird, insect and bat boxes are hung up to give nature a helping hand and above all to enjoy it. There are 2 bicycles included with the accommodation, but of course you can also put on your walking shoes to go out. There are beautiful biking and hiking routes in the area. A car tour along the 11 fountains or sniffing up some culture in the city is also possible. The accommodation is easily accessible by bicycle, car and public transport (bus line 95 or 28 at 300 meters walking distance). Parking is free in the yard, next to your accommodation.
