Nature house in Castets

Enjoy a unique experience in a spacious home that blends traditional Landes architecture with modern design, nestled in the forest and just 30 minutes from the Atlantic beaches. Set in a lush green setting, in the shade of maritime pines and century-old oaks, it offers authentic and unforgettable moments, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Located in the town of Castets, Bayonne is a 45-minute drive away and Bordeaux is 1 hour and 15 minutes away. I’m renting out the main house, which has two bedrooms upstairs. It features two bathrooms (one upstairs and one on the ground floor). For 6 guests, I can make an additional bedroom available a short distance away in the modern annex (two 90 cm-wide beds). For 8 guests (only in June, July, August, and September), I can provide another bedroom with a bathroom. To help you pack lighter, I can provide: sheets, dish towels, tablecloths, and bath towels (for an additional fee for short stays).

My house is located in the heart of the forest, on a spacious lot shaded by maritime pines and century-old oaks. Every room offers a breathtaking view of the forest. From one room, you can admire the sunrise, and from another, the sunset. A large, bright, and cozy living room opens onto a magnificent wooden deck. From there, you can enjoy the birdsong in both summer and winter, and with a little luck, catch a glimpse of a deer crossing the deck. This is the ideal home for spending special moments surrounded by nature, with family or friends, and enjoying the ocean and the pleasant climate of southwestern France. Numerous hiking trails start right from the house. It’s an extraordinary place for young children to explore. The surrounding villages offer plenty of recreational opportunities: horseback riding, surfing, golf, and bike trails.
