Welcome to this sustainable cottage designed and built by ourselves. It stands in a rural setting but the inside of this eco cabin, there is nothing rural about it. It is fresh and sleekly decorated, almost a bit chic. This cottage should be seen as a large luxury hotel room, with kitchenette and private garden. You sleep in a comfortable double bed and sit on comfortable chairs. For a big or small errand you just have to step over the decking outside, where you will find your own bathroom with shower and toilet. If it is not too dry, there is a fire bowl ready to light a fire in the evening. We do ask you to bring your own logs for this. We are happy to provide a healthy breakfast and on Wednesday or Saturday evening there is the possibility to order an evening meal. We advise you to take advantage of this!

This cottage is at the back of our property on a field screened by trees. If you peek in between it you will see the sheep, lambs in the spring, of the neighbors. Right now a set of woodpeckers is making a hole in an old plum tree to start a nest. Last year little blackbirds flew out. So there is always something to experience. The Achterhoek is super suitable for cycling and hiking, the cycling network runs along the cottage and there are many routes nearby. Experience the real outdoors when the neighbor's cows are taken out of the pasture twice a day to be milked, fall asleep while the little owl calls or see in the distance the deer running through the country.
