Nature house in Aalten

The cottage was adequate. Nice and spacious. But there were also some downsides: I found the kitchen not very clean, it did not smell very nice. One of the beds creaked quite a bit (please stay still), the electricity in the bathroom did not work everywhere and the toilet sometimes kept running. I also witnessed disagreements with the neighbors (the owner). The fact that our deposit was not returned and we had to fill in the blanks as to why was also not proper.

Het huisje voldeed. Lekker veel ruimte. Maar er waren ook wat minpunten: de keuken vond ik niet erg schoon, het rook er niet helemaal fijn. Eén van de bedden kraakte nogal (stil blijven liggen a.u.b.), de elektra in de badkamer deed het niet overal en de wc bleef soms doorlopen. Ook was ik getuige van onenigheid bij de buren (de eigenaar). Dat we onze borg niet terug kregen waarbij we zelf dan maar moeten invullen waarom was ook niet zoals het hoort.

There is a lot of space in the house, which is nice when there are six of you. A large garden, also nice, there is not much nature in the immediate vicinity. A busy road, which you have little trouble with in the house itself, but you have to deal with when you arrive / leave.

Er is veel ruimte in het huis, dat is prettig als je met z'n zessen bent. Een grote tuin, ook fijn, er is in de directe omgeving niet heel veel natuur. Wel een drukke weg, waar je in het huisje zelf weinig last van hebt, maar waar je wel mee te maken hebt als je aankomt/vertrekt.

Super lots of space outside and beautiful location. Very friendly owners. Stores close by.

Fine cottage, somewhat dated, but that has its charm. Nice large garden.

Fijn huisje, wel wat gedateerd, maar dat heeft ook zijn charme. Fijne grote tuin.

What we really missed was a central heating system. There were gas heaters present so you could get reasonably warm in the rooms. A central heating system would make it more comfortable. In the bathroom there was no heating at all. The cottage is also a bit dated. In itself it is a fine cottage with enough space, by some new adjustments so it seems / is less dated you can make the house even more attractive.

Wat wij wel heel erg hebben gemist is een centrale verwarming. Er waren wel gaskachels aanwezig waardoor je het wel redelijk warm kon krijgen in de ruimtes. Een centrale verwarming zou het nog wel een stukje aangenamer maken. In de badkamer was helemaal geen verwarming, dit zou nog wel verbetert kunnen worden. Het huisje is ook wel een beetje gedateerd. Op zich is het een prima huisje met genoeg ruimte, door een aantal nieuwe aanpassingen waardoor het wat minder gedateerd lijkt/is kun je het huisje nog aantrekkelijker maken.

The cottage is in an excellent location with plenty of space in but also around the cottage. It is also nice and quiet because of this location.

Het huisje staat op een prima locatie met genoeg ruimte in maar ook om het huisje heen. Het is door deze locatie ook lekker rustig.
