When you arrive at cottage you immediately feel the peace and space so characteristic of the Morvan. The cottage itself has a modern look with authentic elements. There is no TV but there is a fiber optic connection. The kitchen includes an induction hob, small oven, dishwasher and nespresso machine. You have a beautiful view of Lake Rangère. Next to the living room you will find the bedroom with the bathroom en suite. The large patio doors to the garden and the 'murs en pierres', give a real French vacation feeling. There is an open closet and a bed of 1.60 x 2.00. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. The house is heated in winter by a pellet stove that provides pleasant warmth. In summer you will find shelter under the fruit trees. The garden borders the lake and has a pergola with outdoor kitchen. For electric drivers, there is an electrical outlet in the parking lot.
Nature and surroundings
While the house is equipped with all modern comforts, it seems like you are going back in time here. With its thick walls, the house used to protect families and their animals from the cold winters and hot summers. Now it shelters it from hectic existence. The rhythm of the campaign and the lushness of nature give you a beneficial feeling of tranquility. From the garden you can see Rangère Lake and spot unusual birds. Here you will find true silence and an infinite starry sky. Park Natural de Morvan consists of vast forests with many streams and beautiful lakes. You can enjoy hiking, water sports and also the sporty cyclist can get away with it. Eight kilometers from the cottage, on top of Mont Beuvray, you will find the excavations of the ancient Celtic city Bibracte where in 52 BC the revolt against the Romans began and where you can still enjoy a great view.
