In the beautiful countryside between Doetinchem and Gaanderen lies this fine nature house. An oasis of peace and space for a carefree vacation. A beautiful base for wonderful hiking and cycling. In this of straw and loam built Lodge are 4x 2-person luxury apartments, 3 on the ground floor, 1 on the 1st floor which is accessible by stairs, all with private entrance and bathroom. If you come with more than 8 people there is 1 guest room in the farmhouse of the family Veldkamp, located on the same property about 30m from the lodge, this room also has its own entrance and bathroom. Of course there is also a common room, this has a fully equipped kitchen to enjoy cooking including all the necessities. On request there are 2 apartments with an extra bed so that there is room for up to 12 people reservation includes beds and towels / kitchen linen.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located on the small river Bielheimerbeek, which flows into the river IJssel. Because of its central location in the Achterhoek, this nature house is an excellent starting point for hiking and cycling.The nearby estate "The Slangenburgh" with its seventeenth-century castle and Benedictine abbey are a good opportunity to combine culture and nature in a trip.Furthermore, the provincial town of Doetinchem offers all kinds of amenities in terms of entertainment and shopping. In the summer there are regular festivities in the city center, such as the street theater festival with international guests.Also, the places in the region that are easily reached by bicycle or car have a diverse range of natural history activities including:museums'castlesknot-point routesbeautiful estates where you can make beautiful walks.
