The yurt stands in a unique free spot on the Lower Rhine in Eck and Wiel, in the middle of nature in a small yurt community. You have unobstructed views over the fields and the yurt is located directly on the floodplains full of birds and quadrupeds. The yurt has a diameter of 6.7 meters and is suitable for max. 2 persons. Unfortunately no pets because the yurt cat Snoes regularly comes to visit and crawls into her basket at night. The yurt is - besides a cat - equipped with all other first and second necessities of life: electricity, gas, water, drainage, wifi and vegetable garden. The backyard has been transformed (in season) into an edible landscape. The first plants are in the greenhouse and will be watered once a day, if you like to do it yourself, that's allowed too. The bathroom and wifi are shared with the other yurt residents.
Nature and surroundings
The yurt is right on the floodplains where you can walk or just cool off and with the ferry you are right in the middle of the Utrecht Ridge (Amerongen) where there are endless hiking, biking and MTB routes. In short, a wonderful place to root your fingers in the garden, take long walks on the Utrechts heuvelrug, devour the bookcase or just write a new one or just enjoy the peace around you.
