This nature house is located in one of the quietest spots of the Bosrijk Ruighenrode nature park. Few cottages are rented at the park so it is never very crowded. In the exposed garden you can almost always see squirrels and birds. On three sides the cottage is surrounded by the exposed garden with bushes and large trees. One bathroom (with shower in the bathtub) and a separate toilet are on the ground floor. In addition, there are three bedrooms downstairs (Auping 1.80x2.00, box spring 1.40x2.00 and box spring 90x2.00 with crib). One bedroom is upstairs (two times box spring 90x2.00, these can also be together). The luxurious bathroom upstairs has an infrared sauna and a shower/steam cabin. The cottage is child-friendly. We have a fixed crib, a crib (up to 4 months-8 pounds) and 2 camp beds available. There are lots of toys (all ages). The house is spacious and very complete. All basic amenities such as soap, shampoo, coffee, tea, spices etc. are provided.
Nature and surroundings
The nature park where the cottage is located is quiet and peaceful and naturally landscaped with lots of greenery and trees, fences and fences you will not see. At the park there is for the children a few deer and some other animals. Swimming pool de Beemd is 800 meters from the park. Lochem has been named hiking municipality of the year in 2022. You can take wonderful walks in the immediate vicinity, for example in the forest area "the Great Field" (10 min walk). The Achterhoek has also been proclaimed the best cycling area in the Netherlands and the variety of the landscape is great in the Achterhoek. Two mountain bike routes are located at the edge the park (in total the contiguous mtb route is 110 km long). There are three restaurants within walking distance: De Zonnebloem, Eetcafe Dubbel Dutch and the Brasserie at the hotel. The attractive and historic town of Lochem is 10 minutes by bike (or by car). All major supermarkets are present and Lochem has a cozy center.
