    Fulfilled the intentions of Nature House just fine

    Dear Marlies, What a fantastic job you had done. After an extensive tour to learn and operate all the gadgets in the house and your recommendations for the best butcher and baker in the area, our introduction to The Waddenland could begin. How beautiful it is there. Because it was not really beach weather, we could do what we love most: poking around in villages, passing by borgen and museums, eating fish in Zoutkamp and a shrimp croquette at Hammingh in Garnwerd on the Reitdiep. It was good to come home to you. An excellently equipped kitchen, a television in every room and wonderful beds completed the picture. Some gems in the High Country of Groningen were Usquert, Museum Helmantel in Westeremden and the Wierdemuseum in Ezinge, with the beautiful exhibition of Siemon Dijkstra.
