On a dead-end road in the quiet village of Terherne stands this nature house right on the water with its own garden around the house. From the veranda you already have a view in the direction of the Terhernster pools. In the garden are several seats in the sun and in the shade. The water sportsman can moor the boat directly in front of the house. We also rent out sloops and sailing boats. The cottage is cozy and sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms, one with box-spring beds and the other with a real double box bed. The sunny living room has an open kitchen and open doors to the veranda. The bathroom with shower is also on the ground floor. In the utility room there is a washing machine and a microwave oven. There are 3 coffee makers; filter, nespresso and senseo, a kettle and a refrigerator with freezer. There is also a barbecue and a firebowl. Underfloor heating, Wifi and Smart TV. Parking in front of the house. Bicycles can be put under the shed.
Nature and surroundings
Terherne is actually an island in the Frisian lakes. It lies between the Sneekermeer lake and the Terkaplester Poelen. By boat, bicycle, walking or car, there are wonderful trips to make. The many ferries make it extra attractive for cyclists to go around the lakes. The beautiful aqueducts make it easy to sail through the entire Frisian Lake District without too many bridges. The Frisian Eleven Cities are worth a visit with their picturesque monumental streets and canals. But there is also much to enjoy in the tranquility and beautiful nature of vast Friesland.
