Nature house in Serignac

If you are looking for calm, peace, and nature, you have come to the right place. This beautiful old nature house, built in the 19th century is located in the remote hamlet "Goth" and is in the Lot department. In the hamlet there are 3 other houses, surrounded by trees and meadows. In the house, where many old elements have been preserved, you will be welcomed in a spacious living kitchen equipped with all amenities. This room can be cozily heated with a wood stove located in the huge fireplace. Furthermore, there are 4 comfortable bedrooms, all with a double bed and 1 room with an extra single bed. There are 2 bathrooms, one of which has a bathtub. Parking is available next to the house. From the parking lot you walk up a large stone staircase to a covered terrace where the front door of the house is located. There is a large garden screened by trees and shrubs with a private pool.

From the garden you can walk straight into nature, there are many hiking trails nearby where hares, deer and foxes are often spotted. There are also many different birds and birds of prey flying around, including jays, woodpeckers and falcons. A 10-minute drive from the house is the Lot River, one of the cleanest rivers in France. There are many picturesque medieval villages to visit within a 30 kilometer radius. Several times a week there are markets to visit in these villages where you can buy fresh and local products. In the village, to which the hamlet of Goth belongs, there is a restaurant with a small convenience store where you can get fresh bread every morning. Furthermore, there are several supermarkets within a 20-minute drive. The region is known for its many extensive vineyards where especially the Malbec grape is grown. There are a lot of (organic) wineries where wine tastings can be done. In short: something for everyone in this beautiful area!
