Nature house in Krummenau

The Nature house is in an absolutely secluded location surrounded by forests, meadows and paddocks by a stream at the foot of the Idarkopf in the wild and romantic Hunsrück. All around the house you will find pure nature. For hikers, horse riders and mountain bikers, the Eldorado starts right on the doorstep. Several hiking trails, including the Jakobsweg and the old Roman road Ausoniusweg lead directly past the house and our mill is one of the attractions on the Traumschleife- via-molarum- Mühlenwanderweg, which leads through the beautiful Mühlental. The Idarwald forest is also worth exploring and promises extensive hikes into the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park, which begins not far from here. The cities of Trier (around 50 kilometers) and the Moselle towns of Traben-Trarbach and Bernkastel-Kues (15-20 kilometers) offer culture and history, as does the Hunsrück itself with its gemstone museum, Wildenburg castle, Geierlay suspension bridge and animal parks. Nature lovers will get their money's worth here.
