Beautiful, complete and compact accommodation on an estate next to Werk aan het Spoel and the popular Caatje aan de Lek. The spacious concerns a fully furnished former haystack with of 40m2 with stunning views. The atmosphere is rural blingbling with underfloor heating and large Louvre window coverings. With us you can enjoy the tranquility and space. We are not a typical B&B, but especially suitable for people who like privacy and like to take care of their own food and drinks. The luxury kitchen is well equipped with basic amenities, such as a two-burner induction hob, kettle, nespresso coffee maker, and refrigerator (including oil, coffee etc). Except for the bathroom, the room is open-plan. A space-saving (=steep) ladder leads to the open, low loft where three single beds are made up in the second sleeping area. The haystack is best suited for a couple or family, people who enjoy being close together.

You stay in an area supervised by Unesco as part of the world heritage of the New Dutch Waterline. On the other side of the dike you can walk through the farmyard to the river Lek with its cozy beaches or to fort Everdingen with the brewery of Duits & Lauret where you can taste top beers. Farm 't Spoel is located on all kinds of walking and cycling routes. It is perfectly quiet here and lovely to relax in the large garden or nature around. In the trees around the fort many birds are spotted by our guests. You can walk or cycle along the clogging path behind the house to the Koopmansgildeplein where you will find a butcher, baker and Kwalitaria as well as Lidl, Plus and Kruidvat. Over the dike you cycle in 5 minutes to the beautiful historic center of Culemborg, with many cozy terraces. Culemborg is very centrally located; most major cities are not far. On the Market and the Koopmansgildeplein are many facilities.
